NDSB6 is the combined Sixth Form of Notre Dame Plymouth and St Boniface’s Catholic College which welcomes both boys and girls. It has an impressive track record for supporting the further education of students from a wide range of backgrounds and with a wide range of aspirations.

We are part of The Link Partnership (TLP), a group of schools which include DHSG and DHSB, and we all work together to offer our students a wide range of subjects. If students from our schools wish to study an A level we are unable to offer, they can take it at one of the other schools. Transport costs between schools are met by the schools.

We ensure that our students fulfil their potential by enabling them to study their chosen subjects alongside work experience and enrichment activities. Our students can study A Levels and/or BTECs, depending on their choices of subjects. They also follow an enrichment programme (Faith for Life), which prepares them for their future adult lives.

If you want to belong to a Sixth Form where you can be successful, be cared for, known individually and where you are encouraged to develop your skills and qualifications, then NDSB6 is the place for you!

If you feel that NDSB6 is the right place for your next steps in learning, please follow these directions

16 to 19 Tuition Fund

The 16 to 19 tuition fund is specifically allocated funding for all 16 to 19 institutions who receive annual funding allocations from ESFA for the provision of 16 to 19 education, to mitigate the disruption to learning due to COVID-19.

The funding is available to all 16 to 19 institutions. This fund is targeted at students in most need, offering small group tuition to recover lost learning.

16 - 19 Bursary Fund

The bursary fund is a scheme to help students facing financial hardship to stay in full-time education.
The scheme is made up of two parts: Guaranteed Bursaries Those most in need will be eligible for a bursary of £1,200 a year. This includes young people in care, care leavers, young people receiving income support (or Universal Credit), and disabled young people receiving both Employment Support Allowance and Disability Living Allowance (or Personal Independence Payments). Discretionary Bursaries Other students who need financial support to help them to stay in education or training may also be able to claim a bursary to help with costs of transport, food, equipment or other course-related costs.
We hope to be able to meet you very soon in person. For the time being do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
